Close to famous attractions, like Arco da Vila and Palacete Belmarço, but trust me, I prefer Faro Archaeological Museum's gift shop, where I bought my fabulous new hat!
I was devastated to find out there was no private helipad for my arrival. How am I supposed to make a grand entrance?

my recent stay at a hostel in Faro was exceptional, surpassing my previous experience. The hospitality, cleanliness, and comfortable beds at A Casa Da Arvore were outstanding. I celebrated my birthday there and it became a memorable experience. Rui and Paulo were amazing hosts, making sure we had all the advice and assistance we needed to enjoy our stay in beautiful Algarve.
Shower valve was confusing.

Our stay at this amazing hostel was mind-blowing! The host was super kind and welcoming, even though we arrived late. The place is newly renovated and spotlessly clean. We were pleasantly surprised by the welcome drink and water on our beds. The room was incredibly light and the beds were so comfortable, we slept like babies. The shared kitchen and living room were beautifully designed and the terraces were jaw-dropping. The owner, Rui, really cares about his guests' well-being. We only stayed for one night but wish we could have stayed longer. Definitely recommend this place for a fantastic stay!

The communication with the owners was great, allowing us to leave our bags before check-in. The owners also provided us with useful information about the facilities and recommended places to visit. The room was clean and comfortable. The location was excellent, with a supermarket nearby and the city centre within walking distance.
The garden at the back of the hostel could be improved with some greenery to make it a more inviting space.

The hostel was very clean and comfortable, with a cozy atmosphere that made it feel like a home away from home. The staff were incredibly helpful and welcoming, offering useful recommendations and even accommodating an early check-in. The location was convenient, with easy access to the nearby attractions and a pleasant walk to the bus/train station. the kitchen was well-equipped, making it easy to prepare meals.
There was a bit of noise from the corridor, but it was minimal and didn't detract too much from the overall experience. there were only co-ed dorms available, which meant I had to use a sarong for privacy.
